This past May, soon-to-be twelve-year-old Moriah Kanar, who lives with her family in Tel Aviv, was in the late stages of planning for her upcoming bat mitzvah celebration, to be held the next month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It was during that time that the IDF embarked on the eleven-day Operation Guardian of the Walls, targeting Hamas and other terror groups in Gaza.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
With the images of war on television, Moriah and her family decided to explore options for a meaningful bat mitzvah project, which would show the residents of southern Israel that they are not alone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
